When she was about three weeks old Meadow had more visitors 🙂
Uncle Ralph, Aunt Marilyn, Gramma and Grampa, and their friends Bob and Eddie.
The main attraction slept through most of the visit!
Prairie was quite intrigued by the “Boogie Wipes”.
Seeing as how she had a cold…. she tested them out for the baby.
She’s a good big sister.

Duel became TOTALLY enamored by Uncle Ralph and Aunt Marilyn
Daphne became so distraught when Gramma and Grampa left!
Pookie, Daphne and Prairie had their pictures taken also…. just not with Meadow.
I wouldn’t want them to feel left out. 🙂
David made a trip out to meet his new sister. I LOVE the second photo …. isn’t it cute!
Then there’s … what? A lesson on how NOT to hold the baby??

After dinner he then gave a physics lesson to the younger crowd….
Yes…really…physics

Physics 101
Aside from not having rain in such a long time ( apparently we’re near drought conditions ) , the rain is sooooo wonderful because of this:
That is not fog…. it’s SMOKE. Smoke from a fire that started 32 days ago.

The 200 acre fire is now reported to be 280 acres.
This smoke has been awful… at any given time of the day our air quality goes down to nil because the fire is still smouldering and flaring up.
The scariest factor is that it had actually reached onto our neighbors property when it started! They took the girls to go see it afterschool yesterday and it’s STILL on fire!
We knew that it was close… but not THAT close.
